UEFA fines FC Porto millions and threatens with exclusion
Sporting de Braga and Vitória SC were also sanctioned.

UEFA announced, in the form of a statement issued through official platforms at the end of the afternoon this Friday, that it has fined FC Porto 1.5 million euros for "late payments and/or incorrect payment information".
Vitória SC and Sporting de Braga were also sanctioned, precisely for the same reason, in this case, for 200,000 and 40,000 euros, respectively. This group of punished teams also includes CSKA Sofia, Dinamo Tbilisi, Partizan, Galatasaray, Real Betis, Ordabasy Shymkent, Riga FC and FK Auda.
Dragões and vimaranenses were also targeted with a suspended penalty of exclusion from the next European club competition for which they qualify, over the next three seasons, with different conditions.
"For FC Porto, the exclusion is suspended for a probationary period of one season, and will only be applied if the club does not comply with the solvency requirements in the 2024/25 and 2025/26 seasons", the note reads.
"For Vitória SC, the exclusion is suspended for a probationary period of one season, and will only be applied if the club does not comply with the solvency requirements in the 2024/25 season", completes the body that governs football in the Old Continent.
