Casa Pia ends the season with a 'somersault' in Famalicão

Casa Pia left behind the defeats suffered against Sporting de Braga and Moreirense, and, this Friday, closed the 2023/24 season with a 'golden key', leaving the trip to Famalicão with a triumph, by 2-1.
The Minhotos were the first to celebrate, in the fourth minute, thanks to a beautiful goal by Zaydou Youssouf. But the Lisboners refused to 'throw in the towel', and restored equality in the 22nd minute, by Felippe Cardoso, before sentencing the comeback, by Nuno Moreira, at 56.
With this triumph, Casa Pia now has 38 points, which allows them to 'jump', provisionally, to the ninth position in the I League, leaving behind Farense, Rio Ave and Gil Vicente, who will still face Portimonense, Benfica and Estrela da Amadora, respectively.
Famalicão, on the other hand, closes the season with 42 points, which means that, whatever happens in Saturday's matches, they will finish in eighth position in the table.
