The coach, who at the beginning of April 'moved up' from the under-23s of the Bracarenses to replace Artur Jorge in the technical command of the Minhotos and to do the last seven rounds of the championship, stressed that this is not a subject that concerns him at this moment, but stated that "very probably not" will continue in Braga, whatever the context.

"I'm finishing my contract, you already knew the conditions in which I arrived here to finish the season", he said at the press conference previewing the reception to FC Porto, on Saturday, of the 34th and last round of the I League.

Even so, Rui Duarte stressed his desire to return to the Bracarense club in the future: "I think I will return. We did a meritorious job and we want to finish it well tomorrow [Saturday]. I have the feeling that I will return to defend these colors, it is a conviction that I have and I will do everything to make it happen. But, I'm not worried about my future at the moment".

The coach, who will be replaced by Daniel Sousa next season, also expressed his "gratitude" to Sporting de Braga, stressing that "in football, sometimes gratitude is lacking".

"I like being here, feeling useful and giving back. Even though I may have to leave, if I have to come back it will be with a full heart", he reinforced.

The 45-year-old coach recalled the two years spent in the Bracarense emblem.

"They were two incredible years, with title conquests in training, with participation in the Youth League, eliminated without defeats by one of the finalists. We arrived at the main team and we felt that people were happy with the performance. We created a good energy and involvement", said Rui Duarte, who will say goodbye to the command of Sporting de Braga on Saturday, in the match against FC Porto.

Sporting de Braga, fourth classified, with 68 points, and FC Porto, third, with 69, will face each other from 8:30 pm on Saturday, at the Braga Municipal Stadium, in a game that will be refereed by Nuno Almeida, from the Algarve Football Association.
