Analysis of the draw against Benfica: "We knew it was going to be a difficult match. Those who want the ball sometimes make mistakes that can be costly. We tried to limit Benfica's play, we lacked intensity, I felt the team was tired. We tried to keep the ball in areas of construction even at some risk, but it was the only way Benfica could pay some wear and tear. We weren't as objective in the first half as we could have been. At half-time we wanted a little more intensity in the pressure, we took a lot of risks in the construction of the game but we grew".
Reaction: "Benfica ended up having stoppages in play, the rhythm broke, in one of those stoppages we took the ball to the post. It's true that Benfica had many chances but it's impossible to discuss a game like we did, trying to play without exposing ourselves. I want to give a big shout out to my amazing players, we are one of the teams with the fewest defeats, we tried our best to win, I'm very happy with them and we haven't lost to any of the top six".
Ukra's farewell: "He's a true professional. And an example of hard work, he often worked through pain to help the team. I've never met anyone like Ukra. He calls the coach, the players, he wants to support everyone. And the energy he transmitted to us was decisive in turning the championship around and it was because we had players like Ukra that we were able to get out of the position we were in. And to get the whole group to believe that it was possible to end up the way we did. I'm very proud to be his friend and that he had such a farewell. We ended up with nine defeats but we had five in a row and that's how we got to know each other, that's how we see who we have by our side. At Rio Ave. we managed to bring everyone together".
