Al-Sadd files a complaint with FIFA against Abel Ferreira
The reason is that the Portuguese coach did not fulfill a pre-contract that he had signed with the Qataris.

The Brazilian portal TNT Sports reported on Friday that Al-Sadd, a club from Qatar, has filed a complaint with FIFA against Abel Ferreira for failing to comply with a pre-contract.
Apparently, the Portuguese coach had an agreement to go to Qatar at the end of 2023, but Abel Ferreira ended up renewing his contract until 2025.
According to the accusation made by Al Sadd, the negotiations between the parties began in October 2023 and on November 15th of the same year, still according to the accusation, the coach signed a binding document, which would lead him to leave Palmeiras and take over the command of the new club on December 27th.
Now, Al Sadd understands that the document it claims to have signed was breached by Abel Ferreira and demands the payment of compensation of five million euros. At the time, it was written that the Portuguese would in fact be the highest paid coach in the world.
Palmeiras is aware of the situation and will take legal action to defend the coach, who has a contract with the São Paulo club until December 2025.
