Official: De Zerbi to leave Brighton at the end of the season
Brighton and Italian coach Roberto De Zerbi will part ways at the end of the season by mutual consent, the Premier League club announced on Monday.

The 44-year-old, who had two more years on his contract, will take charge of the 'seagulls' for the last time on Sunday, at home, against Manchester United, with Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot, on the last matchday of the championship.
"We have mutually agreed to Roberto leaving the club at a time that suits both parties, enabling us to plan for the future and giving Roberto the opportunity to consider his next step and future career," said Tony Bloom, Brighton's chairman, in a statement.
In turn, De Zerbi stressed that, with this decision, he will have time to plan his future.
"Leaving now gives me time to take a break before deciding my next step," said De Zerbi, adding that he is "very sad" to leave Brighton, but "very proud" of what has been achieved during the last two seasons.
The Italian took over the team in September 2022, after Graham Potter left for Chelsea, then leading the club to sixth place in the Premier League, the best result in history.
In their first ever participation in European competitions, the 'seagulls' reached the last 16 of the Europa League this season, being eliminated by Roma.
The second season of the championship was more complicated for De Zerbi and his team, currently 10th, with 48 points, before the last matchday.
