Borukov and Bernardo Gomes to be out of Marítimo for several months due to injury
Bulgarian international striker Borukov and midfielder Bernardo Gomes will be absent from Marítimo for several months and will miss the start of the next season due to injury, a source from the second division football club confirmed today.

According to a person in charge of the maritime emblem, both athletes suffered "serious injuries to the tendon" and will "probably have to undergo surgery".
Hired in the last 'winter market' at Arda Kardzhali, from Bulgaria, Borukov contracted a muscle-tendon injury in the left thigh's straight femoral and will be out for a period of no less than six months.
In turn, Bernardo Gomes had a tendon injury in the right thigh's long adductor and will be out for five months.
In the last round, in which the 'green-reds' received and beat Oliveirense, by 2-1, both played as starters, and Borukov ended up scoring the winning goal, at 81 minutes, which allows the Madeirans to still dream of the division promotion.
For the match on Sunday, against Académico de Viseu, counting for the 34th and last round of the II League, in which Marítimo still aspires to get a place in the promotion play-off, coach Fábio Pereira will also not be able to count on Amir and Igor Julião, who remain under the care of the medical department.
