Adán leaves Sporting with an appeal: "Don't let this club fall"

'Goodbye' to Sporting: First of all, congratulations to everyone for another title, this is also yours. Thank you very much. Secondly, a word of thanks to all of you for these four years in which my family and I have been very happy. They were four years of success, of many titles, with great moments and I hope that from now on they will continue this way, that they will not let this club fall and that they will continue with a future full of titles. On the 26th, we have an important test, and I hope to be able to say goodbye to this club as I arrived, winning titles for Sporting.
State of mind: It is a mixture of sensations, inevitably, of happiness and satisfaction for four years of work and many successes. That is what makes me happy. I am grateful for the recognition of the club, of all our fans and, above all, besides the titles, I am left with the respect that everyone has shown me during these four years.
Injury: It was difficult and it continues to be. I don't know what you think, but it was a major injury, and when it seemed that I had recovered, I felt pain again, which delayed everything. There is never a good time for an injury, I wish I could have been in the final decisions before leaving, but I couldn't. I am happy for my teammates, for Franco, for Diogo Pinto and for Kico, who played today.
There were two games left for the renewal: There is not much to think about. Injuries do not occur at the right time. I have always said that I was and am very happy, here, at Sporting. One stage ends and another will begin. It was one of the most important stages of my career.
What marked you the most: Besides the titles, the respect that people have shown me since we arrived and that I have received in the street. That is more important than the titles. Hopefully, on the 26th, we can get the last Cup and I would get all the possible titles in Portugal. I hope that it will not take so many years to get titles as important as in these four years.
