Alavés beats Getafe and the clubs swap positions in the "middle" of the table
Alavés won today by 1-0 against Getafe, for the 37th and penultimate round of the Spanish football league, led by the already virtual champion Real Madrid.

Carlos Vicente, in the 12th minute, scored the only goal of the match, which allowed the Basque emblem to overtake Getafe in the league table.
Alavés, who came from a 5-0 thrashing at Real Madrid, is in 10th place, with 45 points, and ends the season at home against Las Palmas (14th).
Getafe, who added their fourth consecutive defeat, dropped from 10th to 11th place, with 43 points, and close the championship at home against Mallorca (17th), the first team above the relegation line.
Alavés-Getafe, which was the only match of the 37th and penultimate round played today, was marked by the 12 yellow cards shown and one red card, to Moriba, in the 90+5th minute.
