Sérgio Conceição was present this Saturday at the press conference to analyze the closing duel of the I Liga in Pedreira, with a triumph of FC Porto against Sporting de Braga (0-1) confirming the last place on the podium and direct access to the group stage of the Europa League, in a game in which he was not on the bench because he was serving a suspension.

Analysis of the victory: "We didn't want to end the championship in third place. It was a difficult game, against a Braga that is part of the big four in Portugal. We started the game very well, after the expulsion we were not as good as we were until then. The circulation was not fast enough to exploit the numerical superiority. Then we rectified some situations at half-time and in the second half we created many situations. The result could have been different and it was a bit of a mirror of the season, with some lack of efficiency. We entered the last third and, due to the lack of definition at the moment of the players, where the talent appears, there was no such discernment. It was a very fair victory. It's the lesser evil. We are not used to this place, but it is what it is. The championship is over, Sporting was a fair champion, we must congratulate them. We have to look at the next game, to collect another title for our museum", he said in statements quoted in the newspaper O Jogo.

Changes in the second half: "We did not break through the central corridor, we wanted dynamic support, depth, it was necessary to dismantle Braga's shorter block. It was necessary to know what to do and create situations. You saw the occupation of spaces by our full-backs in the second half, Wendell was almost an interior midfielder. Galeno played more on the outside in the second half, Pepê and Evanilson also different. We wanted to score goals to win. João Mário came in to occupy a different space in the game, Martim more inside and lower in the first half. We wanted a solution on the outside when necessary".

Pinto da Costa's absence from the bench at Jamor: "Exactly the same thing I said, knowing the president's intention to be present. It doesn't have to be motivation for us. Not being there, it will not change anything in the preparation for the game either. Do you think that is important for today? That does not exist... Motivation is natural, representing a great club and playing a final. The motivation that the coach, player and managers must have".

Atypical championship: "It's not time for assessments. We will do it in a week, there is time for that. We failed in some situations and we all failed. Everyone, at the club.
