Tragedy in Brazil. Young player dies minutes before entering the field
Afonso Rossa was only 19 years old. By all indications, the defender suffered a heart attack.

Afonso Rossa, an athlete from Águia de Marabá, suffered a heart attack moments before entering the field against Carajás, for the Pará Sub-20 Cup, at the Rosenão stadium, in Parauapebas.
According to the Brazilian press, the young defender started to feel unwell after lunch. He went with the entourage to the match, but ended up dying in the stadium, not resisting a cardiac arrest. Due to the sad episode, the game was postponed by the organizers.
"Águia de Marabá deeply regrets the death of the defender of the U-20 team, Afonso Rossa, from Rio Grande do Sul, who felt unwell moments before the match against Carajás, for the Pará U-20 Cup, which was canceled. The club is giving all the necessary support to the family members", wrote the Pará club on the social network X.
In addition to Águia de Marabá, Afonso Rossa played in the youth teams of São José, Jaú and Aimoré, teams from the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
