With Gonçalo Guedes, Villarreal draws Real Madrid in a match with eight goals
Former Benfica player started against the Spanish champions, in a game where Sorloth scored four goals.

Champions Real Madrid saw their nine-game winning streak in La Liga come to an end on Sunday with a dramatic 4-4 draw at Villarreal, a match in which they went into the break winning by three goals, already with an eye on the Champions League final against Borussia Dortmund.
The match could not have started better for Carlo Ancelotti's team, who were already winning by two goals after half an hour of play, through Arda Guler (14') and Joselu (30').
It is true that Alexander Sorloth reduced the deficit in the 39th minute, but before the break, Lucas' goal (40') and Arda Guler's brace (45+1') left the Merengue team much more comfortable for the second half.
With Gonçalo Guedes in the starting eleven, Marcelino made several changes and kept the former Benfica player on the pitch to watch a real 'show' by Sorloth up close. With three assists from Gerard Moreno, the Norwegian striker would celebrate again with goals in quick succession, in the 48th, 52nd and 56th minutes, scoring a certainly unforgettable poker.
With this result, Real Madrid now have 94 points at the top of La Liga, eight more than Barcelona, while Villarreal are eighth, with 52, six behind Real Betis, with no chance of reaching the European places.
