PAOK, with Vieirinha, Rafa and André Ricardo, is the new Greek champion

PAOK put an end to a title 'fast' that had lasted since 2019 at the end of the afternoon this Sunday, by being crowned Greek champion, thanks to the triumph conquered in the visit to Aris, by 2-1, in the last matchday of the season.
Brandon Thomas broke the nil-nil in the Kleanthis Vikelidis Stadium, at the 30th minute, before Loren Moron reestablished the tie, making AEK's belief grow (which, at the same time, received and beat Lamia, by 3-0) that it would still be possible to carry out an overtaking. A belief that, however, did not last long.
This is because, at the 62nd minute, Taison did his thing again, thus sentencing the victory of the team where the Portuguese Vieirinha (who did not leave the bench), Rafa Soares and André Ricardo (who were not called up) play.
After the math, PAOK ends the season with 80 points, which leaves it in the isolated leadership of the table, with a two-point advantage over AEK. The podium was closed with Panathinaikos, which, at the same time, defeated Olympiacos, by 1-2.
