Rui Costa is preparing to speak to Benfica supporters on Thursday and take stock of the season that ended last Friday and which fell short of initial expectations, the sports press revealed this Monday.
However, and contrary to usual, the president of the Eagles will not restrict himself to an interview with the club's official channels. The time is also yet to be defined.
It is worth remembering that Benfica finished the championship in second place, failing to regain the title, were eliminated in the quarter-finals of the Europa League, lost in the final four of the League Cup and did not go beyond the semi-finals in the Portuguese Cup. In turn, at the start of the season they won the Super Cup against FC Porto.
