"Rúben Amorim has a unique profile, he didn't copy anyone"

Hugo Leal gave an interview to the Final Cut podcast by Sports Tailors this Tuesday, in which he spared no compliments for Rúben Amorim, who he was a teammate of when they shared the dressing room at Belenenses.
"He [Rúben Amorim] revolutionized the way Sporting de Braga played and at the end of that season he had Benfica, Sporting and FC Porto in the various competitions... He always faced them all with a positive attitude. The players ran for him, they identified with him. So, he has shown from the beginning that he is someone different. What I like most about all this is that he has a unique profile, that is, he didn't copy anyone", Hugo Leal began by saying, before praising Marco Silva, who he has been friends with since their time at Estoril.
"I think that Marco [Silva], in addition to choosing the teams well, choosing the groups he trains with well, and having an excellent training methodology... He seems very good at making decisions during the game", he continued.
Hugo Leal also confessed that he has stopped watching football matches.
"It's not for lack of time, because I still thought that could be a way to justify myself, but I can watch a full padel match and I can't watch a football match. Priorities", the former player concluded.
