Roberto Martínez released, this Tuesday, the 26 players called up to represent the national team in Euro'2024, which will take place in Germany from June 14, with one fact that stands out: 18 of them are represented by Gestifute, Jorge Mendes' representation company. Therefore, we are talking about 69% of the Portuguese 'super agent's' dominance. 

Starting with the goal, Rui Patrício, Diogo Costa and José Sá are from Jorge Mendes' 'club', whereas in defense Gonçalo Inácio and Nuno Mendes are not part of Gestifute, with the duo being represented by Miguel Pinho, from Positionumber. Diogo Dalot, in turn, is represented by Proeleven, from Carlos Gonçalves. 

Still in defense, note the case of Rúben Dias, a player who apparently ended his relationship with Gestifute, since he is not in the catalog of players available on the official website of Polaris Sports, a company from the Gestifute universe. 

In the midfield, Bruno Fernandes, Otávio and João Palhinha escape the rule. The Manchester United captain is the third Miguel Pinho player in this team, whereas Palhinha is represented by his brother Gonçalo Palhinha. In turn, Otávio belongs to LiveSoccer Agency. 

In the attack, all players are represented by Gestifute except for Francisco Conceição: Rafael Leão, Diogo Jota, João Félix, Pedro Neto, Gonçalo Ramos and Cristiano Ronaldo. The young FC Porto winger recently signed, even definitively, with the dragons without any agent involved in the process.

Market value exceeds 1,000 million 

Equally relevant is the market value composed by the 26 players called up by Martínez. According to Transfermarkt, a portal specialized in statistical data, Portugal will have a value of 1,044 million euros in Euro'2024. 

Rafael Leão is the player with the highest market value (90 million euros), followed by Rúben Dias and Bernardo Silva, a duo from Manchester City, who are worth 80 million each. 

On the other end is Pepe, 41 years old, whose market value is less than one million - 800 thousand euros. 

PSG is the most represented club

Regarding the clubs, PSG appears as the most represented in the national team with four players: Danilo, Nuno Mendes, Vitinha and Gonçalo Ramos. FC Porto, with Diogo Costa, Pepe and Francisco Conceição, is the second most 'present' club in this call-up.
