"This call will keep Pedro Neto grounded"
Father of Portuguese international player from Wolverhampton delighted with his son's call-up for Euro'2024.

Pedro Nuno Neto did not hide his satisfaction at seeing his son Pedro Neto be part of the 26 players called up this Tuesday by Roberto Martínez to represent Portugal in Euro'2024. In statements to Canal 11, the father of the 24-year-old Portuguese international recalled the various misfortunes that have marked his son's career.
"We've already talked… Hope is always the last to die. Of course we had some doubts, even because he was not 100 percent physically fit at this stage. Whenever this type of event came up, he was unlucky due to injuries, but fortunately now it went well", Pedro Nuno Neto began by saying, continuing.
"He is a humble player who always gives his best, and this call-up will certainly keep his feet on the ground", concluded Pedro Neto's father.
