The Libertadores Champion's Match Will Have 100% Female Refereeing
Fluminense and Sampaio Corrêa play for the third round of the Brazilian Cup.

Unprecedented fact in Brazilian football - a professional men's football match will be refereed by an all-female team of referees. The match in question is Fluminense-Sampaio Corrêa, from the Copa do Brasil, which will be played this Wednesday.
According to the appointments of the CBF, the referee of the match will be Edina Alves. She will have Neuza Back and Fabrini Bevilaqua Costa as assistants. The fourth referee Andreza Helena de Siqueira.
The VAR will be handed over to Charly Wendy, with assistance from Amanda Matias Masseira and Thayslane de Melo Costa. Ana Karina Marques Valentin (PE). The remaining positions will also be filled by women.
The first match between Sampaio Corrêa and Fluminense ended in 2-0 for the reigning Copa Libertadores champion. Whoever wins goes to the round of 16 of the Copa do Brasil.
