Desporto Euro 2024

Serbia's preparations for Euro 2024 are now underway, with coach Dragan Stojkovic naming a 35-man preliminary squad for the tournament. They will face England, Denmark and Slovenia in the group stage.

That means the coach will have to cut nine players before the final squad, which must be submitted to UEFA by June 7.

With captain Dusan Tadic complemented by the attacking talents of Aleksandar Mitrovic, Dusan Vlahovic and Luka Jovic, while Sergej Milinkovic-Savic anchors the midfield, Serbia will be no pushovers at Euro 2024, which is the first time they have qualified for the Euros as an independent nation.

There are four players with a past in Portuguese football. Andrija Zivkovic, Luka Jovic and Nemanja Radonjic have all been at Benfica, while Gudelj has played for Sporting. FC Porto's Marko Grujic is not part of the squad.
