Bragantino, led by Pedro Caixinha, qualifies for the 'round of 16' of the Cup
O Bragantino, coached by Portuguese Pedro Caixinha, qualified on Tuesday night for the round of 16 of the Brazilian Football Cup, after beating Sousa (3-0) at home, a team from the fourth division.

After a surprising draw away in the first leg (1-1), the São Paulo team did not make it easy at home and won easily, with goals from Juninho Capixaba (25 minutes), Gustavinho (59) and Mosquera (71), which earned them qualification.
Also in the third qualifying round, Vasco da Gama, who on Wednesday made official the arrival of Portuguese coach Álvaro Pacheco, secured qualification, but in a penalty shootout (3-3, 5-4).
After a draw in the first leg, the Vasco players, still without Álvaro Pacheco on the bench, drew at home, in a game of constant alternation on the scoreboard, in which they were losing 1-0 and 2-1, and winning 3-2, until a new draw.
In the penalty shootout, the Rio de Janeiro team successfully scored all five attempts, while Kervin Andrade wasted the last one for Fortaleza.
