Neither Haaland nor Mbappé: "With an unlimited budget, I would sign Rodri"

Benjamín Zarandona gave an extensive interview to the Saturday edition of the Spanish newspaper As, in which he 'cleaned up' his extensive career at the highest level, in the neighboring country, with stints at clubs such as Real Betis and Valladolid.
The former international for Equatorial Guinea faced the Galácticos, from Real Madrid, where names such as Luís Figo, David Beckham, Zinédine Zidane or Ronaldo (the 'Phenomenon') stood out. Even so, he was surprised to reveal the player who impressed him the most, within the four lines.
"There is one that is no longer talked about, but that impressed me. Anelka. When he was in shape, he was almost unstoppable. I tried to follow him in several starts, and it was impossible. He looked like a bonfire. He had brutal power and a change of pace," he said.
The former midfielder also made a reflection on current football: "If I had an unlimited budget, I would not hire Haaland or Mbappé, but Rodri. Maybe he is not that spectacular, but it is a scandal how he moves with Manchester City and the importance he has".
