Bruno Fernandes breathes a sigh of relief: "Finally, we have something to celebrate"

Bruno Fernandes lifted his first trophy as Manchester United captain on Saturday as he guided the team to a 2-1 win over Manchester City in the highly anticipated FA Cup final.
Speaking to BBC Sport in his post-match interview at Wembley Stadium, the Portugal international, who assisted the winning goal from Kobbie Mainoo that proved the difference against their fierce rivals, could not hide his delight at the achievement at the end of a difficult season.
"It was the last chance to get something from the season. We were here last season, we were not good enough and we had to see them lift the trophy. They have a lot of quality, great players and a great manager," he began.
"We had to sacrifice ourselves and suffer, but we were really good. I tried to give my best to help the team. Kobbie Mainoo is a great kid, a quality player, and you can see the composure he had to finish," he continued.
"Congratulations to everyone, the staff, the players and the fans, who gave us a great push. Finally, we have something to celebrate. It is massive for everyone. We know the manager has been under a lot of scrutiny, and he deserves this," he added.
