Juventus and Monza took to the field at the Allianz Stadium for the final match of the season, on the last matchday of Serie A. The Bianconeri won 2-0 at home and moved away from Bologna, who were defeated by Genoa on Friday.

It was a match marked by the farewell of Alex Sandro, a full-back who scored and left the club in the best possible way - with the record of most appearances by a foreigner, equaling Pavel Nedved (327).

It was Italian international Federico Chiesa, in the 26th minute, who put Juventus ahead on the scoreboard. Before that, Nicolò Fagioli, who had recently returned from a suspension, had hit the bar.

Alex Sandro scored a goal two minutes later, marking a memorable farewell. Later, he would be applauded by the fans. At half-time, note the entrance of goalkeeper Pinsoglio, who made his first appearance for Juventus this season (and made good saves).

Tiago Djaló, a Portuguese defender formerly of Lille, also played for Juventus from the 78th minute. On the Monza side, the Portuguese Pedro Pereira and Dany Mota played. Zerbin, from the visitors, was also sent off, leaving Monza with ten players. Palladino's team is sure of twelfth place at the end of this season.
