Unparalleled: Galeno stars in historical record in Portuguese football

Wenderson Galeno made history on Sunday afternoon at the Estádio Nacional do Jamor. The Brazilian winger became the first player ever in the history of Portuguese football to win the Portuguese Cup in four consecutive seasons, after FC Porto beat Sporting (2-1) in extra time.
An unparalleled record in Portugal, this after Galeno won the main competition for Sp. Braga, in 2020/21, before winning the next three with the FC Porto jersey.
At 26, Galeno also signed the best season of his career as a professional, reaching 16 goals and 12 assists in 48 games played.
In addition to the four Portuguese Cups, the Brazilian international also has two I Leagues, two League Cups and a Super Cup to his name.
