Pinto da Costa unleashes criticism on the last day: "Unbelievable refereeing"
Blues and whites delivered the Portuguese Cup trophy to the FC Porto Museum.

On Monday afternoon, FC Porto's squad handed over the trophy for winning the Portuguese Cup, which they achieved on Sunday afternoon against Sporting, to the club's Museum. This was the last title that Pinto da Costa added to the blue and whites' record.
On his last day as president of FC Porto's SAD, Pinto da Costa highlighted the feat achieved by the team led by Sérgio Conceição and, in his own style, criticised what happened in the season that is now ending.
"Today is a special day for me, both for the present and for the past. Present, because it is the last day that I will be president of SAD. Tomorrow I will hand over the baton to André Villas-Boas, to whom I wish all the best. Special, because today is the anniversary of the day, 27 May 1987, when we won our first European Cup, the first international trophy that led to six more. An unforgettable day, present here daily, the start of FC Porto's era of glory and victories. And it was also on 27 May 2017 that, with a handshake, I hired Sérgio Conceição to coach FC Porto. These are two unforgettable dates for the victory and for what his entry into FC Porto meant and the 11 trophies won as head coach of FC Porto. This day will always be special for the three reasons I mentioned", began Pinto da Costa.
"We are here to receive this 20th Portuguese Cup, the 11th trophy for coach Sérgio Conceição, but we are here, above all, we directors, I, coach, you, president André Villas-Boas, and all the directors, current and future, to pay homage to and thank this team", continued the still leader of SAD portista, moving on to the barbs.
"It was a very difficult season, it was a season of extreme difficulty, for economic reasons, for the actions of what was Machiavellian in our games with unbelievable refereeing, with penalties to be awarded, with penalties awarded and reversed, which has never been seen in any other club, but it was only your willpower, ability and team spirit that achieved what we achieved and brought this Cup to the FC Porto Museum", he stressed.
