Pinto da Costa: "I'll stop being a Porto fan when I die. And even then..."
Outgoing president of FC Porto's SAD left words to his successor.

After the delivery of the 20th Portuguese Cup to the FC Porto Museum, Pinto da Costa gave what was his last speech as president of the Portista SAD. The outgoing leader made a scathing attack on the refereeing and left a guarantee for the future.
"It is very important for everyone, for the club and for me too, to be here today, on my last day as president of the FC Porto SAD, receiving this trophy from one of the symbols of FC Porto, who is the captain Pepe, it is a huge satisfaction for me, it gives me a lot of strength to continue to follow and live FC Porto, to be able to follow you in all the stadiums of this country and the world, because I may stop being president tomorrow, but I will only stop being a Portista when I die and, even then, up there I don't know if it is possible to have a club", said Pinto da Costa, before wishing success to his successor, André Villas-Boas.
"I want to tell you that I am very grateful to everyone. They were unforgettable years for me. It was 42 years, it is longer than most of the life that you have, but I dedicated them to FC Porto, I dedicated them to you and I am very happy because I think that, without exception, with all those I dealt with, I made a friend. In the hug I am going to give Sérgio, I wanted to include the whole football group, and in the hug I will give André Villas-Boas, I wanted to transmit the vote of congratulations that we all wish for FC Porto", he concluded.
