The Portuguese Cup final might have been Sérgio Conceição's last game at FC Porto. The newspaper Record announced on Monday afternoon that the coach will leave the team at the end of the current season, putting an end to a seven-year relationship.

The same source reveals that the coach's final decision will be made public on Tuesday, the day that Pinto da Costa will step down from the leadership of FC Porto's SAD.

Meanwhile, Fabrizio Romano, an Italian journalist who specializes in transfer market issues, revealed that Sérgio Conceição decided to activate the clause that allows him to terminate his contract and that was put in writing in the recent agreement to renew his contract until 2028.

Otherwise, Sérgio Conceição's speech after the Portuguese Cup final hinted that this would be the expected outcome. On the pitch of the Estádio Nacional, the coach revealed that it was not the time to put an end to these rumors, but stressed that he had already made a decision.

On Monday, during the presentation of the trophy for winning the 20th Portuguese Cup, André Villas-Boas, president of FC Porto, thanked Sérgio Conceição for the "seven years of glories and titles", in a clear farewell message.

Therefore, Sérgio Conceição will leave FC Porto with 11 titles won: three championships, four Portuguese Cups, three Super Cups and one League Cup.
