Record-breaker Cristiano Ronaldo helps Al Nassr 'bend' former Benfica
Portuguese kissed in the triumph before Al Ittihad and became the player with the most goals scored in an edition of the Saudi Arabia championship.

Cristiano Ronaldo continues to fly in Saudi Arabia and on Monday helped Al Nassr beat Al Ittihad, 4-2, finishing the match, corresponding to the 34th and final round of the Saudi championship, with yet another record in his pocket.
The Portuguese international became the player to score the most goals in a single edition of the Saudi Arabian championship. There were 35 goals in 31 games and two of them in this match.
Cristiano Ronaldo equaled the record at the end of the half with an accurate shot in the 45'+3. But the scoring streak didn't stop there. The Madeira star made history, reaching 35 accurate finishes in a single edition of the Saudi League and surpassing a maximum that belonged to Hamdallah (34) since 2018/19.
The Portuguese star would then be replaced at 74', minutes after Al Menhali had seen a straight red and left Al Ittihad with one less. Before the 90th minute, Ghareeb set the final result by taking a penalty (78').
Also noteworthy is the final reaction of the outsiders. Al Shamrani reduced the distance to the outsiders at 89 minutes, before Fabinho scored in stoppage time (90'+2), in the rebound of a penalty he had missed. Al Nassr even signed the fourth through Al Nemer near the end (90+4'). Former Benfica player Jota Filipe did not leave the bench.
With this result, Al Nassr closed the championship in second place with 82 points. Al Ittihad was fifth with 54 points.
