Journalist Ben Jacobs, a transfer market specialist, wrote on Monday that Al Nassr does not want to give up Cristiano Ronaldo and already has a plan in place to keep the Portuguese international.

The same source reveals that the idea of the club's leaders in Riyadh is to extend their captain's current contract for another year. Cristiano Ronaldo's current contract ends in June 2025.

The leaders of the SPL, the Saudi Arabian League, are also interested in keeping Ronaldo until the 2025/26 season, as this is part of a new cycle of television rights.

Ben Jacobs also adds that the Madeira native is receptive to extending his contract and playing until he is 41 for the Saudi Arabian team.

In what is his second season in Saudi Arabia, Cristiano Ronaldo has played 50 games and scored an impressive 50 goals, to which he adds 13 assists.
