José Eduardo Simões said he believes, this Tuesday, that André Villas-Boas and Sérgio Conceição would be compatible at FC Porto, at a time when the coach's departure seems almost certain. Speaking to Renascença, the former president of Académica, who worked with both, said, however, that Conceição may be showing "wear and tear".

"They have similar characteristics. They both got into the players' heads. And, in the way they work, I'm sure they would get along well," began José Eduardo Simões.

"André Villas-Boas knows what his mission is at the moment, helping the coach not to be what he has been in recent years. It's been seven years of great wear and tear and Sérgio Conceição feels imprisoned," concluded the former president of Académica.
