Franco Israel will have heavy competition next season
Confirmed exit of Antonio Adán opens up vacancy. Diogo Pinto will be the third goalkeeper.

The goal will be one of the main focuses in Sporting's transfer market in the summer that is already approaching with great strides. With the departure of Antonio Adán already confirmed, the management led by Frederico Varandas signaled the need to offer a new goalkeeper to Rúben Amorim who is capable of rivaling Franco Israel, reveals the newspaper O JOGO, in this Wednesday's edition.
The idea of Sporting's SAD will be to find a player with some experience and who has the necessary conditions to cause a good 'headache' for Amorim.
Franco Israel established himself as the new owner of the Leonine goal in the middle of the season that has now ended, but an injury prevented him from finishing it and motivated the bet on Diogo Pinto, a young goalkeeper of only 19 years old.
Diogo Pinto was, moreover, linked to Sporting's defeat in the Portuguese Cup final, against FC Porto (1-2), last Sunday, for having committed a great penalty on Evanilson, which Taremi transformed into a goal, but he continues to have the confidence of those responsible for Sporting. For this reason, the young Portuguese goalkeeper will continue in the squad, as third goalkeeper, training with the main team, but lining up regularly for team B.
