Rooney on Bruno Fernandes: "He's the captain, but who are the leaders?"
Former England international shows concern for 'his' Manchester United.

Wayne Rooney gave an extensive interview to Gary Neville on Thursday on the podcast 'The Overlap', in which he expressed concern about 'his' Manchester United, the club he represented for almost his entire playing career, between 2004 and 2017.
"I would say you need five players in a dressing room who can lead a team. One thing I would say about Manchester United at the minute is you look at that team, and you still question who the leaders are," began the former England international.
"I know Bruno [Fernandes] is the captain, but who are the leaders? I said a few weeks ago, when Marcus Rashford was getting a bit of criticism for his body language, he's always been like that. I don't think he's ever been a big talker on the pitch," he continued.
"When he's having a tough time or you want a little bit more, that's when the senior players have to demand more. That's something I don't see. Whenever Manchester United concede a goal, they just seem to go down and it's impossible to get back in the game," he added.
