We all feel the consequences of the generalized price increase in our wallets, caused by the increase in inflation, which has been escalating, namely, in the wake of war scenarios with Europe as the stage and not only. But, this time, the news is different and it is good: Galp lowered the prices of electricity and natural gas by an average of 28% and 19% respectively, allowing to relieve the wallets of its current customers and those who will become customers.

If there is consumption that we take for granted, it is energy. Without electricity and natural gas, we can hardly maintain a lifestyle that is compatible with what we are used to, so this price reduction is of great importance. And if we tell you that, at the same time, Galp has a campaign underway, in partnership with Continente, which provides a welcome offer of 75 euros when you join the Galp & Continente plan, the news gets even better.

But let's do the math. What does it mean, in practice, Galp's price reduction of around 28% for electricity and 19% for natural gas? Nothing like concrete examples.

For a couple with no children and with a contracted power of 3.45 kVA of electricity, the monthly bill could be 9 euros lighter, going from 32.9 euros to 23.6 euros.

A couple with two children and a contracted power of 6.9 kVA of electricity could start paying 40.7 euros per month instead of 56 euros, which represents 15 euros less per month in the household budget.

For a couple with no children in the first tier of natural gas consumption, the price reduction will make the bill thinner by 3 euros, with the monthly cost going from 17 euros to 14 euros.

Therefore, whatever the case, your bank account will thank you. And if we extend this price reduction to the whole year, the gratitude will, of course, be even more expressive. We are talking about a annual savings of over 100 euros in the first example given, almost 200 euros in the second, and close to 40 euros in the third.

75 euro offer only until the end of April!

We have already seen that those who are already Galp customers have reasons to smile. But for those who are not, the arguments are even stronger - and even more so if you are in the process of moving house, having to choose an electricity and/or natural gas supplier in the free market - if we add to this equation the variable of the membership campaign that we mentioned above, which will be in force until April 30th.
