PSI rises 3.50% with Galp advancing 20.64%
The Lisbon stock exchange closed today on the rise, with the PSI index recording a rise of 3.50% to 6,515.47 points, the highest increase since November 2020, supported by Galp, which rose by 20.64%.

This was the biggest appreciation of the main index of the Lisbon stock exchange since November 9, 2020, when it rose 4.50%.
The oil company Galp led the gains with a rise of 20.64% to 19.35 euros, after announcing a "potential major commercial discovery" in the Namibian oil reserve.
The main European stock exchanges also ended positive, preparing for a very intense week in terms of corporate results.
London advanced 1.62%, surpassing a previous closing record that dated back to February 20, 2023, Madrid rose 1.50%, Frankfurt 0.70% and Paris 0.22%.
