Brent quotation for delivery in June falls 0.33% to 87 dollars
The price of a barrel of Brent oil for delivery in June closed today on the London futures market down 0.33%, to $87.

North Sea crude, the European benchmark, closed on the International Exchange Futures at 29 cents below the $87.29 at which it closed on Friday.
The value of oil fell given the perception among investors that tensions in the Middle East are easing, after the days following Iran's attack on Israel and the Israeli retaliation.
The decrease in world demand is also cited as a reason for the drop in prices, given that there is enough production to meet demand.
