At the start of the session, the Dow Jones Industrial index fell 0.11% to 38,463.89 points, while the Standard & Poor's rose 0.20% to 5,80,70 points and the Nasdaq technology index rose 0.84% to 15,831.17 points.
Investors are paying attention to the quarterly results of large companies, and the one that continued to appreciate the most was Tesla, despite having announced on Tuesday a 55% drop in profits in the first quarter of this year and a reduction in the prices of its vehicles in April.
However, Elon Musk's plans seem to have seduced investors.
Boeing, which announced its results (a loss of almost 321 million euros) for the first quarter, after a black year due to the accumulation of technical problems in its planes, rose 1.85% and Visa, which presented its results for the first quarter on Tuesday, rose 2.37%.
Today, the results of Meta and Ford are still awaited, and Thursday is the "big day" of the week, with the publication of the results of Microsoft, Alphabet and Intel.
By sector, technology is appreciating 1.12% and non-essential goods are rising 1.3%, but falls predominate, such as utilities (-0.72%) and energy (-0.71%).
