Carris Metropolitana registered 2,022 fewer complaints in the first quarter of this year than in the same period in 2023, the entity that manages road transport in the 18 municipalities of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area announced today.

In a statement, Carris Metropolitana refers that between January and March of this year there was both a reduction in complaints and in contacts made by users with the entity, when compared to the numbers registered in the previous year.

Between January and March of this year, Carris Metropolitana registered 4,244 complaints, following 14,813 contacts, against the 6,266 complaints received in 2023, after 19,973 interactions.

"These numbers reflect the continuous effort of Carris Metropolitana to improve its services", underlines the entity, appealing to users to use the official channels, through the website (carrismetropolitana.pt/apoio) or the support line (210 418 800), to request information, make suggestions or file complaints.

Carris Metropolitana is an initiative of the 18 municipalities of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area (AML) that, through Transportes Metropolitanos de Lisboa (TML), merges the road operation of the entire AML.

The municipalities covered by this entity are Lisbon, Loures, Odivelas, Amadora, Oeiras, Cascais, Sintra, Mafra and Vila Franca de Xira, in the district of Lisbon, and Almada, Seixal, Barreiro, Alcochete, Palmela, Setúbal, Sesimbra, Moita and Montijo, in the district of Setúbal.
