REN will increase shareholder remuneration to 16.3 cents per share
Redes Energéticas Nacionais (REN) plans to increase shareholder remuneration to 16.3 cents per share in 2027, compared to 15.4 cents paid this year, and maintaining the biannual payment, it was announced today.

According to the strategic plan for 2024-2027 sent to the Securities Market Commission (CMVM), REN plans to increase the dividend to shareholders by 2% per year until it reaches 16.3 cents per share.
REN had a fixed dividend policy of 17.1 cents per share between 2013 and 2021 and, between 2021 and 2023, the dividend had a minimum value of 15.4 cents per share.
The financial director, Gonçalo Morais Soares, pointed out, in the presentation of the plan, this morning, in Lisbon, that the company's growth should also be present in the remuneration of shareholders, which "gives credibility to the plan".
The strategic plan until 2027 also foresees an increase in EBITDA from 487 million euros per year, in the previous plan, to 500 to 540 million per year until 2027.
The company also estimates that its net income will rise to an average of 105 to 120 million euros per year, until the end of the plan, which compares with an average of 110 million per year between 2021 and 2023, and that the debt will fall to 2,500 million euros by 2027.
