Portuguese tourism in Brazil grows 13.8% in the first 4 months of the year
The number of Portuguese who visited Brazil in the first four months of the year grew 13.8% compared to the same period in 2023, Brazilian authorities indicated today.

In total, from January to April, 82,164 Portuguese visited Brazil, according to data from the Brazilian Agency for International Tourism Promotion (Embratur), in partnership with the Ministry of Tourism and the Federal Police.
Of all the countries in the European Union, the Portuguese were second in the ranking of those who visited the country the most, behind only the French (84,468).
In general terms, Portugal is in seventh place in the ranking.
Globally, Brazil received 2.92 million international tourists in the first four months of the year, with an annual increase of 7.4%.
"This was the third best four-month period in history, behind only 2018 (3.10 million) and 2017 (2.99 million)," the Brazilian authorities said in a statement.
