Good news for drivers! The prices of petrol and diesel will go down again next week, so if you need to fill up your vehicle it will be a good idea to wait until Monday - especially if you plan to fill up the tank.
According to a source in the sector quoted by the Automóvel Club de Portugal - ACP, the average price per liter of petrol will likely drop by 1 cent, while diesel will drop by 1.5 cents.
It is worth noting that this is the third consecutive week in which both diesel and petrol have become cheaper.
"If the forecasts for next week are confirmed, the average price of plain diesel should be set at €1.549/l, while plain 95 petrol should be at €1.744/l", indicates the ACP.
It should be noted that these forecasts are based on the assumption that the extraordinary tax reduction measures applied by the Government will be maintained, in order to mitigate the increase in fuel prices.
