New York Stock Exchange Trades Slightly Higher in Record-Setting Week
Wall Street is trading slightly higher on Tuesday, capping a week in which the S&P 500 and Nasdaq hit record highs, while the Dow Jones Industrial Average topped 40,000 for the first time.

At 2:50 pm in Lisbon, the Dow Jones Industrial index rose 0.01% to 39,875.91 points, the S&P500 rose 0.12% to 5,302.57 points and the Nasdaq technology gained 0.02% to 16,697.89 points.
After reassuring indicators released this week, investors continue to bet on a decrease in inflationary pressures, but are looking for new signs about the evolution of interest rates by the Federal Reserve (Fed).
However, for now, the signs of greater control of inflation favor an upward revision of expectations of a new monetary easing by the US Fed, according to analysts.
In today's session, investors will follow the statements of Federal Reserve officials Christopher Waller and Mary Daly, in the expectation of obtaining more clues about the trajectory of the monetary policy of the North American central bank.
