The works on the Lisbon Underground continue and the transport network will grow and gain new stations in the coming years. Do you know how the expansion plan will impact your life? Do you already know the new stations?
The company provides, on its website, three images that show the news. You can check them in the gallery above.
"The Lisbon Underground Expansion and Modernization Plan is a new and ambitious step towards improving the mobility of the city of Lisbon", can be read on the Metro website.
It is worth remembering that, with a total planned investment of 331.4 million euros, the Circular Line will connect the Rato station to Cais do Sodré, in an extension of more two kilometres of network and two new stations (Estrela and Santos), joining the current Yellow and Green lines in a new circular ring in the centre of Lisbon.
