Wall Street drifts after Dow hits another record
The New York Stock Exchange had no clear trend at the start of the session today, after a record high for the Dow Jones index, which closed above 40,000 points for the first time on Friday.

At 3:05 p.m. (Lisbon time), the Dow Jones fell 0.02% to 39,996.27 points, and the Nasdaq, dominated by the technology sector, rose 0.65% to 16,795.16 points.
The broad S&P 500 index rose 0.32% to 5,319.98 points.
This week, investors await the release of results from technology company Nvidia, a microprocessor manufacturer that has seen considerable appreciation, thanks to the euphoria over developments in artificial intelligence.
On Friday, the New York Stock Exchange closed mixed, but with a new record for the Dow Jones index, which ended the session above the symbolic threshold of 40,000 points (40,003) for the first time in its history.
