Millennium BCP is in the Top 10 of the 'ranking' of Companies Committed to Youth, being "the only Portuguese bank and company" on the list, according to DCH - International Human Capital Management Organization.
The information was released in a statement by Millennium BCP, which explains that "being part of this 'ranking' means belonging to the group of the best companies in the Iberian Peninsula and Latin America that promote initiatives for the development of Young Talent".
For Miguel Maya, CEO of the company, this distinction "is yet another sign that reveals Millennium BCP's strategy of differentiating itself from its competitors through the value it creates for the communities in which it operates".
However, the official stressed that "there is still a long way to go for young people to have, in addition to improved salaries, better conditions to choose to develop their careers in Portugal, but, more than isolated measures, it is essential that each organization is committed to creating conditions so that the people who work in them value themselves and gain new skills and qualifications throughout their professional lives".
The objective of the 'ranking' is to distinguish "Companies and Entities from the private sector that present solutions to promote all Young People's transition to working life and the construction of their own autonomy".
