Fuel forecasts confirmed? Find out what happened

If you need to fill up, be aware that the week starts with changes in fuel prices, but not as expected. The beginning of the week confirms the drop in the price of regular gasoline, but not an increase in the price of diesel, as expected.
According to data from the Directorate-General for Energy and Geology (DGEG), on Monday, May 27, the average price of regular diesel remained practically unchanged, at 1.552 euros per liter, while that of regular gasoline 95 fell to 1.745 euros per liter.
All things considered, compared to Tuesday of last week, regular diesel fell 0.1 cents, while the price of regular gasoline 95 fell 0.4 cents.
It is worth remembering that the sector's forecasts advanced to the Automóvel Clube de Portugal (ACP) indicated that diesel should become 0.5 cents per liter more expensive, while gasoline should do the opposite, becoming 0.5 cents per liter cheaper.
