- INE publishes 2023 Commercial Property Price Index
Commercial property prices (stores) increased by 4.2% in 2022, having however slowed down compared to the increase seen in the previous year (5.1%). Now, it is time to find out how 2023 went - the data is revealed by the National Institute of Statistics (INE) today.
- Strikes
The workers of canteens and refectories, accommodation and catering are on a 24-hour strike and a rally in Lisbon. The aim is to unblock collective bargaining in these subsectors. Also, the workers of the Union of Portuguese Misericórdias and the Santas Casas de Misericórdia are observing a day of strike today in protest for the valorisation of careers and for salary increases.
- Lisbon Energy Summit
The Lisbon Energy Summit begins today, which will be attended by the Minister of the Environment, Maria da Graça Carvalho.
- Council of Ministers of Agriculture and Fisheries
Based on information from the Presidency and the European Commission, the Ministers of Agriculture will discuss the current crisis, as well as the situation in the agricultural sector.
