In a statement released today, a SIBS source states that the new Executive Committee will be further strengthened with Teresa Mesquita, a current SIBS staff member, and Rui Mendonça Lima, who is now joining the group, adding that Hélder Neves and Ricardo Madeira will remain as executive directors.
"It is with great satisfaction and a sense of commitment that I assume the responsibility of the executive leadership of the SIBS Group in this new three-year period. I thank the shareholders for their trust in continuing an ambitious project of innovation, growth, and commitment to SIBS's role as a driver of digitalisation in the markets where it operates", said the CEO of SIBS, quoted in the statement.
Madalena Tomé also states that "the reinforcement of the Executive Committee has the main objective of ensuring greater focus on these three fundamental pillars for SIBS, with a view to accelerating its growth trajectory as a payment partner and a European reference player, in a highly dynamic and competitive market".
SIBS is responsible for managing the Multibanco networks, in its multiple channels -- from ATMs and automatic payment terminals to online or mobile means -- and ATM Express, according to information available on its website.
