Infanta Sofía of Spain makes her solo event debut
The daughter of King Felipe VI and Queen Letizia will preside over an awards ceremony.

Infanta Sofia makes her solo official agenda debut in the new photography contest organized by the National Heritage. Thus, Felipe VI assigned his youngest daughter, who will turn 17 on April 29, the first solo institutional role of representing the Crown, as the person responsible for presenting the awards.
This is a great debut for Infanta Sofia, who has always participated in events alongside her parents, King Felipe and Queen Letizia, or her older sister, Princess Leonor.
The National Heritage announced this Thursday the call for the contest 'Objetivo Patrimonio. Infanta Sofia Photography Contest', whose winners will be announced in October of this year.
The date of the award ceremony is not yet known. "Infanta Sofia, as the youngest member of the royal family, to which the institution is linked, sponsors the contest and will be responsible for presenting the awards," said the statement, reported by La Vanguardia.
