Cristina Ferreira talked about her mother on 'Dois às 10' this Monday, April 22, in a rare moment when she addressed the life story of the person who brought her into the world.
The presenter was pleased with the celebration of the 50th anniversary of April 25, although she wished for more changes in the lives and rights of women: "50 years have passed and it seems like not even five have passed".
"Women, who are the majority, are the most discriminated against, and they continue to be. Much less than before, but they continue to be", added Luísa, commentator on the morning format of TVI.
Finally, Cristina recalled the speech she gave when she was awarded as one of the most influential women in the country by Executiva magazine. "My mother left everything because of my father, when he came from Overseas. She came to live with him, but found a way to never ask him for a penny in her life. She did everything she had to do: rissóis, curtains, everything... She never depended on my father for a penny, it was the best example I could have", reported the communicator.
"Despite having left everything for my father, she was never dependent on him", she concluded.
