Carlos Gustavo of Sweden celebrates birthday, but grandchildren steal the limelight
Estelle, Oscar, Alexander, Gabriel and Julian were the center of attention on the day their grandfather blew out 78 candles.

As is the case every year on 30 April, the Swedish royal family came together to celebrate the birthday of King Carl Gustaf, who is turning 78 this year.
The sovereign celebrated the date surrounded by his family, who went out onto the palace balcony to greet the public.
The king was accompanied by his wife, Queen Silvia, his eldest children, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Carl Philip, as well as their respective spouses, Prince Daniel and Princess Sofia, and five of his eight grandchildren, Estelle, Oscar, Alexander, Gabriel and Julian.
Absent were the king's youngest daughter, Princess Madeleine, her husband, Chris O'Neill, and their three children, Leonore, Nicolas and Adrienne, who live in Miami, in the United States.
As is now customary, the king's grandchildren took centre stage at the event, with Princess Estelle - who will one day be queen - featuring in some lovely photographs with her grandmother, resting her head on her shoulder and appearing to be laughing out loud beside her.
